Pakistan Flood 2011;
In response of heavy monsoon rains and floods in Sindh province, Helping Hand for Relief and Development immediately mobilized its resources making them one of the first relief organizations in Sindh, Pakistan.

Pakistan Flood 2011 Facts:

  • 5.5 Million affected
  • 300,000 are internally displaced
  • 60,000+ cattle heads perishing
  • 7 Million acres crops affected
  • 2.30-Million bales of cotton lost
  • 970,000+ homes damaged.

Medical Camps                     Mobile Medical Camps at different locations
HHRD has organized four Mobile Medical Camps at different locations (Sindh, Pakistan). In total, 478 flood victims received free consultations and medications. (ongoing)

Shelter Camp                     Helping Hand Food Distribution
$25 food package will feed a family of 6 for 1 week. Food Package includes: Flour, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Rice, Lentils, Biscuits and other basics.
